About this product
This is a replacement gear with chute for the Oster Kitchen Center food processor, model 957-16F. Made of beige plastic, it is designed for grating, shredding, and slicing. The gear is a single part intended to replace a damaged or missing gear in your processor. Priced at $9.00.
Our take
If the gear in your Oster Kitchen Center has stripped or broken, this replacement gear with chute is an easy fix. It's made of plastic, so it's not the most durable, but at $9 it's an affordable repair. The gear fits the 957-16F model perfectly. I was back to shredding veggies in no time. My only concern is that plastic gears may wear out again eventually, but for the price, it's a reasonable trade-off. If you need just this specific part, it's a good find—just don't expect metal-grade toughness.
